The Horse Centre “L’Elmo” is located in a panoramic environment where woods, valleys and mountains are succeeding to each other. All the horses are well trained, in such a way that they can satisfy export cavaliers but also quiet ones, making feel sure and comfortable all the cavaliers being at their first time experience.

The centre is equipped of an obstacle round well organised and of a round for pony where qualified instructors are giving lessons to adults and children. The beginners can learn the bases of horseback riding while the expert cavaliers will be helped to reach a better style and technique. It is possible to make a jumping and obstacles course for those who would like to learn or develop their own capabilities. We organise horseback riding walks inside our farm, for one hour or more. During these excursions one goes through different environments, from woods to Mediterranean landscape with all the most characteristic trees (bearberry, Holm oak), to mix woods with bitter oak and carpini trees. During the longer walks we go inside the Elmo wood where we can admire a cut-off drain sunken in the sandstones, with an extremely pure water rich of shellfishes and fishes, and we walk along the ravines of the Chiani river. Immerged in the silence animated by the forest we cross the traces of its most affectionate inhabitants: wild boars, hedgehogs, foxes, badgers.
